Cockroaches
Cockroach Environment
Cockroaches in homes are a health hazard to many children and families because of the risks cockroach antigens pose to asthma sufferers. Traditionally, cockroaches were controlled because they are offensive, leave behind an awful smell, and cause gastrointestinal and respiratory illness. However, research shows that cockroach debris (old shells, saliva, body parts, and droppings) triggers asthma attacks in people who are sensitized to cockroach antigen (proteins found in the debris). In homes where several allergens are present, including dust mites, mold, furry pets, tobacco smoke, and certain chemicals, children may experience severe and frequent asthma attacks from high airborne concentrations of these allergens.
Biotic Factors
Biotic factors would be humans, animals, plants, and insects.
Abiotic Factors
Abiotic factors would be rock, air, dirt, water, and sunlight.
How Cockroach Became Resistant to Radiation
Roaches became resistant due to evolution, their pill shape body and their fast moving legs. Males are smaller than females making them faster and more agile.
Benefits and Negatives to Cockroach's Resistance
Cockroaches have been living on the planet for at least 250 million years and are considered to be among nature's more adaptable -- though unwelcome -- creatures. However admirable their survival skills, their proclivity for destruction and spreading disease has earned man's loathing. What's more, they stink.

But are you aware that they are also one of very few living creatures that can survive if you cut off their head?
I know exactly what you are thinking. Being headless is such a terrible thought and moreover without a face what face value will someone have. Anyway, apart for having a face value, we humans have nose and mouth on the face which apart from contributing to the face-value are also used to breath & eat respectively. It would have been such a good idea if all these responsibilities were distributed geographically across the body instead of all on the face.
Another disadvantage of being a human is that we are warm-blooded, which means that we cannot survive in extreme conditions unlike cockroaches. Also, we need lot of food to keep our self warm and maintain the blood pressure unlike cockroaches, which can live without food for weeks.
We humans have to maintain high blood pressure to push blood in to the miles long blood vessels and capillaries, which are so much missing in cockroach, making them simple creatures

Human Involvement In Resistence
Humans Can contribute to resistance by keep feeding them pesticides. They will soon evolve and adapt to the pesticides and become immune to all disease.
pesticides are chemicals used to kill pests especially insects. For example, humans use raid, bengal, sevin dust, and spectracide.

Food Web
If roaches stayed resistant then they would take over while the rest of the world perished. In other words, Roaches would take over the world. The roach because of its resistence will still be the same because it is not resistent to animals of other predators. The plants it eats will not be affected either as a result it keeps everything in the food chain the same.
